Well. This is it. If Obama doesn't present a valid birth certificate, he won't be president. If Obama does present a valid birth certificate that Berg cannot prove is invalid, and proves he is a natural born citizen, then all is won for him and I will gladly accept it. So assuming that all hell breaks loose, and Obama isn't a citizen... who's elected? Biden? President Joe Biden? Or perhaps Hillary Clinton? It will be a total mess really. And the dumbass dems in congress will probably decide what happens. But we still have Bush to do shit too!!1  I was actually looking forward to Obama. He would have destroyed the democrat party. You realize that a writ of certiorari is not a verdict. Or have anything to do with a verdict. It's the court's choice about whether or not to HEAR a case.
If Obama fails to respond to the writ, that doesn't actually mean anything. That means that the courts will not have his testimony while they decide whether or not to accept arguments. If they grant the Writ, then oral arguments will begin. And, best-case scenario for Berg, this gets referred back to the lower courts with an order for the court to actually hear the case. At any rate, the ONLY way this is getting wrapped up before the 15th is if the court denies the writ. Anything else is going to take months. This is not verdict-rendering stuff. This is the Court deciding whether or not it has jurisdiction, whether or not it is a topic worthy of their review, and whether or not the proper procedure has been followed. Duck, come on. This is high school stuff. Even I know that. But thanks for explaining it! Again, I believe it won't take 15 months because of the importance of this case. Yes, 99% of cases take forever, but the Supreme Court will probably brush aside everything else like they did in 2000 and look into this. Or not. We'll have to see. I can't stomach to read those articles right now. I've done more than enough reading for this bullshit case already, I'm not going to waste my time trudging through pearls of journalistic excellence such as "COMRADE BARAK OBAMA IS NOT AMERICA'S NEXT PRESIDENT".
