Today I tried your newly modded SD2100v2 on local 's patch.
This patch 'd been cleaned out by vlf and gx4000 . Since the owner knew that I have the most capable detector he wanted to check if there was any gold left. Within a few minutes I found a 3 grammers about 12 inches. ( I promised to send first nugget found to u ) the noise was quite lound compared to the previously modded) and later on I heard a not so loud noise so I oredered the local to dig. The first specimen shown up about 20 grams with depth around 50 cm. But the sound of remaining specimen could be heard in the same hole. The we kept digging till the last big specimen came out. The total weight of specimen after melted around 230 grams the big one will be smashed for gold tomorrow morning. ( I guess it should have gold around 50-60 grams ) I have to share gokd found with the land owner 50% So sorry Woody I can not give you the first nugget I found as promised  I think it's too small for you. I will send a bigger specimen instead. :) (IMG:http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc164/byjupiter/Mygold16Jan09022.jpg) |

Hi Paul,
Your detector is very special, I have completely changed the whole timing and increased the audio response. I also rebuilt the whole front end of the Detector to remove losses so the Sensitivity should be much greater. I have just got back from out Eastern Gold Field as I have run some tests on a full size ground loop. It goes very deep!!! Paul , make ground maps of the Gold Size and all locations as I think we could find deep reef Gold with the loop, either I will send it when fully tested or come over to see you and bring it as well. Edit, Paul, send me a specimen of the type of Gold that you are finding thats hard to detect, I can then modify the Timings on a GP3000 to suit that type of Gold. I have lots of Idea's. Hi Doug, I do not post every Mod I come up with, but Pauls detector looks nothing like a standard SD2100 on the inside. If you want more details ring me as some of my little discoveries really boost the detector and in most cases remove the timing holes on certain sized Nuggets. That 2100 is super quiet and super deep. |

Hi Woody, The fastest I can send probably on Tuesday when I go back to civilization. But your new detector has much louder audio and made me calculate wrongly on the size of nugget in ground. The small sizes nugget when dug up were very hard to find above the ground. But the above 3 grams up are superb in depth and audio. 249.7 grams (IMG:http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc164/byjupiter/250grams.jpg) |

Nohave, you need to protect your Photobucket account better. All someone has to do is take the propertys of the pic and shorten the URL and they have access to your photo album.

Hi Guy's
Just had a fellow in the US contact me to say that he has just dug a 78 pound Silver Nugget from Aspen Colorado in the USA with a old modded SD2000 running at 1.25 Mhz with gain boost and hitting the detector at 8 volts. Was at 3.5 ft using an 18 old dustbin lid coil. Whats Silver worth these day's? |

Hi Woody,
if your mate's find was entirely silver (like the lump you bought off me) it would be worth around AU$12,200. Pretty much the same as you finding a 10oz GOLD nugget. Cheers, Dwt |

Thats a lot of Money... :D
If Nohave finds the main Reef where all these specimens are coming from then he may get near that amount of Gold. Its a pity Nohave that you have to melt down the Gold as Specimens go for more than Gold price. Sometime this week I may see the Specimen that Nohave has sent to me, I think the size may be a suprise :o |

woody, It was infact a nugget I sent to you but was covered with thin quartz that you hardly see any gold on the surface. :) gef12 I sent by express mail with tracking number so it should arrive safely. |

Paul, I hope you see the Nugget after Hydrocloric Acid treatment. They look great and you will get much more than Gold Value. I already have 2 private messages wanting to buy that piece for 2 X Gold value because they say it looks like Texas.
Many big Nuggets to you. koÌp praì koon |
